Zefon PCM 25mm ASB Air Sampling Cassettes are precision-manufactured for reliable asbestos air monitoring in compliance with NIOSH, OSHA, and AHERA standards. The Zefon Asbestos 25MM 3PC Sampling Cassette is designed and manufactured for asbestos air monitoring using phase contrast microscopy (PCM). The cassette features a 25mm, 0.8µm mixed cellulose ester (MCE) filter with a cellulose support pad in a conductive three-piece housing. It is designed for NIOSH 7400 asbestos analysis by PCM and meets applicable NIOSH, OSHA, and AHERA standards for asbestos air monitoring.
Each cassette is individually assembled and preloaded under stringent quality control standards, providing a ready-to-use solution for asbestos air sampling. After assembly, every cassette is individually tested before packaging. Quality control includes 100% inspection for the correct filter and pad combination and verification that no filter parchment paper is present.
To help ensure acceptable background fiber counts, random lot samples are tested daily by an independent laboratory, with laboratory results available upon request. Each lot also undergoes independent laboratory verification of sample blanks according to NIOSH requirements.
The cassette includes a 2-inch static conductive extension cowl and is marked with a unique serial number for identification and traceability. The white-banded cassette meets NIOSH 7400/7402 and OSHA ID160 specifications and is supplied preloaded and ready for use. Each box contains 50 asbestos PCM air sampling cassettes.
