Zefon Pre-Weighed 37MM 3PC Air Sampling Cassette, 5.0µm PVC (50/BX)

The Zefon Pre-Weighed 37MM 3PC Air Sampling Cassette, 5.0µm PVC is designed for gravimetric air sampling applications where determining the amount of airborne contaminants collected requires accurate filter weights before and after sampling. Each cassette is preloaded with a 37mm, 5.0µm PVC filter that has been pre-weighed to within 0.00001g (10µg), eliminating the need to weigh the filter before sampling. The recorded filter weight and a unique serial number are printed directly on the cassette label for identification and documentation. During manufacturing, each PVC filter is equilibrated at 68°F and 50% relative humidity before being weighed using microbalance equipment. After weighing, the filter is loaded into the cassette and sealed with its labeled weight and serial number. For accurate post-sampling results, Zefon recommends performing the final weighing under the same environmental conditions used during manufacturing. The cassette features a clear styrene 3-piece housing, cellulose support pad, polyethylene end plugs, and Luer taper inlet and outlet connections. A red label band provides quick identification of the 5.0µm PVC filter. The pure homopolymer PVC filter provides excellent weight stability and is manufactured with no silica and low ash properties. Preloaded and ready to use, these cassettes provide a convenient solution for gravimetric air sampling and are packaged 50 cassettes per box.
