Fiberlock IAQ 6100 Mold Resistant Coating is a high-performance, clear coating engineered to provide long-term resistance to mold growth on treated surfaces. Formulated as a 100% acrylic, water-based coating, it delivers a durable yet flexible finish that allows surfaces to breathe while maintaining protection.  IAQ 6100 contains a fungistatic agent designed to resist mold growth on the surface of the cured coating, making it an effective solution for maintaining cleaner environments.

This coating has been independently tested and has achieved top ratings in ASTM G-21 and ASTM D-3273 testing for mold resistance, demonstrating its reliability in moisture-prone environments. Its permeable design allows for vapor transmission while still protecting the substrate, helping to reduce the risk of trapped moisture.

IAQ 6100 is recommended for a wide variety of surfaces including wood, plaster, wallboard, sheetrock, concrete, masonry block, and primed or galvanized metal. It can also be applied to new structural materials during construction, making it a versatile choice for both remediation projects and preventative applications.

The product is supplied ready to use and can be applied by brush, roller, or airless spray equipment. It typically dries to the touch in approximately one hour and can be recoated within 4–8 hours. Coverage ranges from 250 to 600 square feet per gallon depending on surface porosity.
