The Protimeter SurveyMaster (BLD5375) is a versatile, dual-function moisture meter engineered to support accurate moisture detection in a wide range of building applications. It is widely used by restoration professionals, inspectors, and contractors to identify, diagnose, and monitor moisture levels in both new construction and refurbishment projects. Excess moisture can lead to structural damage and deterioration, making reliable detection essential for maintaining building integrity.

The SurveyMaster features two operational modes—Search and Measure—allowing users to distinguish between sub-surface and surface moisture conditions. In Search mode, the non-invasive sensor detects moisture up to 3/4 inch below the surface without being affected by surface moisture, making it ideal for scanning behind walls, floors, and finishes such as tile or vinyl. This mode provides relative moisture readings along with a color-coded scale to quickly identify dry, at-risk, or wet conditions.

Measure mode uses pin-type electrodes to provide precise moisture content readings at the point of contact, including wood moisture equivalent (WME) values for various building materials. This allows for detailed assessment and monitoring of moisture changes over time. The built-in Reference Mode enables users to establish a baseline reading and compare subsequent measurements for more accurate diagnostics.

Additionally, the SurveyMaster includes Bluetooth connectivity, enabling users to log data, capture photos, and generate reports through the Protimeter Connect app. This enhances documentation and workflow efficiency for field professionals.
